Data Reporting
User specified options for iXAMiner output files
The results from iXAMiner may be presented in one of the following:
• A single Microsoft Excel spreadsheet file, in either Excel 2000 compatibility format, or native OpenXML Document format, or
• Multiple Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, each containing one class of data extracted from the download (e.g. Address Book, Dialled Calls). These spreadsheets may be produced either as plain, unformatted data, or with report-style formatting suitable to be directly supplied into the justice system.
• In addition, e-mail may be exported either to Microsoft Word, or to an XML file (which has all the necessary styling information to enable it to be viewed directly in a web browser). This XML file may include the e-mail attachments embedded within it.
• Media files are extracted from their locations within the download, and produced in a separate folder created within the output data folder.
